Love doesn't always fit, but we've made exchanges easy.

We want you to absolutely love what you ordered. If your piece doesn't fit or isn't quite what you hoped for, you can exchange it for store credit within 30 days of delivery.

How it works

  • You have 30 days from delivery to request an exchange.
  • Click the button above to start your exchange in our self-serve portal. You'll be guided through the process and given the nearest Sea Dragon exchange address (we have exchange points in the USA and Australia).
  • Ship your item back to us using any carrier of your choice. Return shipping is at your cost.
  • Once we receive your item, we'll issue store credit (excluding original shipping), valid for 12 months.
  • Use that credit to select a new size, color, or style. Shipping, duties, and taxes are recalculated at checkout, and all new orders ship DDP.
  • Prefer a custom size or a slight styling tweak? Our studio works directly with you at no extra cost, that personalized touch is part of the magic.

Fit tips before you exchange

If your garment feels a bit too small or tight at first, we always recommend wearing your item around the house for 20 to 30 minutes before deciding. All of our stretch fabrics relax up to 10% with wear, which is enough to feel perfect for most people.

If the fit still isn't right, or if you'd prefer a different style, we're happy to suggest alternatives or offer custom sizing at no extra cost.


Why we don't offer refunds

Because each piece is handmade to order just for you, we don't offer refunds. As a small independent label, we simply can't restock a piece that was made specifically for one customer.


Manufacturing defects

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, we'll absolutely make it right. Email us at info@seadragonstudio.com right away with photos, and we'll take care of you.


Delivery responsibility

Once your order is shipped, it is your responsibility to coordinate delivery with DHL. This includes:

  • Providing an accurate delivery address at checkout
  • Being available or arranging someone to receive the package
  • Responding to DHL notifications, calls, or emails about your delivery
  • Rescheduling delivery or arranging pickup from a DHL access point if you are not home
  • Clearing any local documentation or ID requirements DHL requests

If you refuse delivery, fail to respond to DHL, do not coordinate a redelivery, or the package is marked "uncollected," "unclaimed," or "returned to sender," the order is considered fulfilled on our end. In these cases, Sea Dragon Studio is not liable for the returned or unclaimed package, and we cannot offer replacements, exchanges, store credit, or refunds. Any costs to reship an uncollected package are the customer's responsibility.

If you're going to be away or expect a delivery issue, please reach out before your order ships and we'll do our best to help.


Important notes

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Items must be unworn and unwashed to qualify for exchange.
  • Final sale: Sale items, cosmetics, glitter, pasties, hosiery, and custom orders cannot be exchanged.
